Read this before you buy. These are seedlings, grown from seed. Apple and pear do not come true from seed — a seedling grown from a Liberty apple is not a Liberty apple, it is its offspring, and the fruit will be its own thing. Usually smaller, often tart, sometimes not worth eating.
That is why we sell these as wildlife trees, not kitchen fruit. Fruit quality, bearing age and disease response vary from tree to tree.
Apple and pear seedlings
Liberty and Freedom are our apple seed-source types; Kieffer is our pear seed-source type. These names describe the seed source, not the cultivar identity of the resulting tree.
Seedlings exposed to disease pressure that survive may be offered. Survival here does not guarantee disease resistance or performance on your site. Cedar apple rust exposure may be part of an evaluation, but it is not proof of resistance.
